I traded buying new clothes for going to a movie with a friend. The opportunity cost was not being able to buy new clothing for school.

i was going to go see my friends and i decided to go see my boyfriend instead. I lost time with my friends.

I recently traded in my camera to receive money from wal-mart. I play volleyball and give up my time.

Two days ago, I bought a bag of SunChips. The trade-off for those chips was that I gave them money in exchange for them.
The opportunity cost was that I could have saved my money instead of buying the chips cause I really didn't need them that bad.

One trade off that I encountered earlier was I gave up buying a new calculator to save money for a new laptop. The opportunity cost was to use the money to buy a graphing calculator, but that was only the second best.

Trade off- I recently bought gas to fill my tank.

Opportunity cost- I could have bought McDonalds to fill me up.

I had a choice of buying a 91 Chevy SS pickup or a 55 chevy pickup for a collage project i chose to save my money for the SS and to the 55 as a oportunity cost

Recently I bought an energy drink "Moster" but instead of buying more paper for school that I will eventually need for classes. Also I spend time playing volleyball, when I could be at home studying!

I traded studying for a geometry quiz for spending time with my friend for her birthday. The opportunity coast was not being able to study that day.

I had to stay up late doing homework. I traded homework for sleep. The opportunity cost of that would be sleeping.

i bought cheese-sticks and something to drink from the bronco spur after practice last night. instead, i could've saved the money for gas.

I bought breakfast today at the BS. So, my trade off was that i gave them money. The opportunity cost was that I could have used that money to buy more gas and fill my tank.

I bought a few dollars' worth of candy as an advertising reward for the yearbook staff next week. Instead, i could have put the money in Kelsey's and my Colorado fund. But i like a motivated staff ;)
